Transactions can be grouped by any number of variables using tags in myBooks. Any contacts and items created in myBooks can be added as a tag in myBooks. Contacts and items will not be displayed as tag lists in the tag list but they can be added as tags in the transactions. Custom text tags can also be created in myBooks. These tags can be used as filters in reports to slice the numbers.

To create tags in myBooks click on Settings> Business settings > Preferences > Tags.
How to create tags
- By default created contacts and items can be added as tag in transaction but it will not be displayed in tag list
- Click on create tag a popup window will open
- Enter the tag name and tag description
- Contacts and item will not be displayed in the tag list but they can added as a tag in the transactions
- Tags was added in the transaction can be used as a filter to run reports
