Produced goods can be recorded with the raw materials consumed and their manufacturing costs.

How to get there!

To create a production order in myBooks, click on Transactions > Production order> Create production order.

Production Order Details

Production order number will automatically be created. But it can be disabled by clicking on the production order number. Select the date from the calendar. Enter any reference & upload any documents to the production order.

Raw Materials Consumed

Select the product from the dropdown menu and the description will automatically update, provided if it was updated when the product was created. Enter the number of raw materials consumed in the consumed field and the value of raw materials will automatically be updated

Finished Goods Product

Select the product from the dropdown menu and the description will automatically update, provided if it was updated when the product was created. Enter the number of goods produced and the value of the manufacturing amount will automatically be updated.

Manufacturing Costs

Select the account from the dropdown menu and enter the description for the account. Enter the manufacturing costs in the amount field. The total value of manufacturing cost will be updated automatically in the manufacturing amount. Enter any notes in the notes field and click on save to save production order.
